About Kestrel Energy Brokers
An independent business-to-business energy broker for Belgium and Luxembourg, founded in Brussels in 2014.
Who we are
Kestrel arranges and follows gas and electricity contracts for about 120 companies and organisations, from bakeries and garages to logistics hubs, cold stores, schools, care homes and a data centre. Together they account for roughly 45,000 MWh brokered every year.
We do not sell energy ourselves. We work with three supplier partners, Meuse Energie, Ardenne Gas & Power and Northlight Supply, and put their offers side by side for each customer. Because we are not a supplier, our advice is about which offer fits your profile, not about which one we sell.
How we work
One account owner
Every customer has one account owner at Kestrel for the whole life of the contract, assigned by region and site size.
Paid through the contract
Our brokerage fee is included in the contract price. There is no separate invoice from Kestrel and no fee if you decide not to sign.
Gas and electricity
Many customers sign both with us. Each commodity gets its own contract, with its own term and supplier.
Our history
- 2014 Kestrel Energy Brokers is founded in Brussels to help small and mid-sized companies compare business energy offers.
- 2021 A second office opens in Luxembourg to serve customers on both sides of the border.
- Today About 120 active customers in Belgium and Luxembourg and three supplier partners.
